Welcome to KT Aboriginal Fine Art. By accessing or purchasing from our website, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Product Information

We offer original and reproduction Aboriginal artworks created by Indigenous artists. All efforts are made to accurately represent each piece through images and descriptions. Colours may vary slightly due to screen settings and lighting during photography. Please contact us for more information or close-up images before purchasing if you are uncertain.

All artworks are unique and may include cultural storytelling elements. Commissioned artworks are bespoke and final, but we provide a photo approval process prior to dispatch.

2. Orders & Payment

• All prices are listed in AUD and include GST where applicable.
• Payment must be made in full at checkout. Orders are processed only after full payment has been received.
• We accept major credit cards including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Diners Club, as well as Afterpay for eligible purchases up to $4,000 AUD.
• We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, such as in cases of errors, unavailability, or suspicion of fraud.
• Orders placed via phone are subject to verification and full payment before dispatch.

3. Shipping, Delivery & Insurance

• Domestic shipping is calculated at checkout and typically takes 3–7 business days depending on location. Internal delivery may take 10–20 days depending on the courier.
• International shipping is available for unframed artworks only. Customs duties, taxes, and import fees are the responsibility of the recipient.
• Framed artwork is shipped within Australia only. International shipping of framed pieces is available by request and at the buyer’s own risk, with insurance required.
• All shipments are insured while in transit. In the event of loss, theft, or damage during shipping, KT Aboriginal Fine Art will assist with claims and arrange a replacement or refund where applicable.
• Large, corporate, or commissioned artworks will have insurance and delivery arrangements confirmed during the consultation stage.
• We are not liable for any loss or damage once items are picked up by the courier.

4. Returns & Refunds

• Change of Mind: Customers may return items in original condition within 7 days of delivery for a store credit or exchange. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.
• Returns for damaged or incorrect items must be approved within 48 hours of delivery. Refer to our Returns & Refunds Policy for full details.
• Commissioned or bespoke artworks are final sale and are not eligible for returns.

5. Intellectual Property

All artworks, images, text, and branding on this site are protected by copyright and remain the intellectual property of KT Aboriginal Fine Art and the respective artists. No content may be copied, reproduced, or distributed without written permission.

6. Cultural Sensitivity

We respectfully acknowledge that our artists share sacred stories and cultural knowledge through their artworks. All pieces are presented with permission. Please treat these works with respect and refrain from unauthorized use. Commercial use, reproduction, or adaptation without express written consent is strictly prohibited.

7. Afterpay & Payment Terms

• Eligible purchases up to $4,000 AUD may be made via Afterpay, allowing split payments over four installments.
• Afterpay purchases are subject to their terms and conditions. By selecting Afterpay, you agree to their policies.
• All other payments must be made in full prior to processing.

8. Customer Information & Security

• All customer information, including personal and payment details, is protected through Shopify’s secure servers and encrypted using industry-standard SSL protocols.
• We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
• Third-party service providers (e.g., payment gateways, shipping companies) are only provided the information necessary to complete the order and are required to maintain confidentiality.

9. Limitation of Liability

While we take every care in producing, packaging, and shipping artworks, KT Aboriginal Fine Art is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including delays due to courier services, customs, or natural events.

10. Third-Party Services

We are hosted on Shopify Inc., which provides the online platform for our store. Your data is stored through Shopify’s secure data storage systems. Review Shopify’s privacy policy here: https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy.

Other third-party providers we use may also collect or store data in accordance with their own privacy policies.

11. Changes to Terms

KT Aboriginal Fine Art reserves the right to update or modify these terms at any time. Continued use of our site constitutes acceptance of any changes.
